Coordinates strategic engagement for NATO Allied Command Transformation’s Strategic Issues and Engagement Branch. The officer organises senior conferences and workshops, develops policy and staff products, aligns command communications with strategic objectives, and maintains partnerships with defence institutions, research bodies, industry and non-NATO entities to support warfare-development priorities.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Organise strategic conferences, seminars and symposia and manage related content, budgets and contracts
  • Engage defence organisations, research institutions, academia, industry and international entities
  • Coordinate workshops and reports on strategic topics under development
  • Align strategic events, policy initiatives and briefings with commander objectives
  • Align engagement inputs with command communications plans
  • Maintain branch-owned websites
  • Produce point papers, presentations and progress reports
  • Review and update agreements with NATO and non-NATO entities

Role Requirements

  • University degree with two years of function-related experience, or higher secondary education with advanced vocational training and four years of post-related experience
  • At least three years of experience facilitating high-level seminars, workshops or symposia
  • At least two years of experience contributing to high-level policy papers or strategy
  • Fluent English at SLP 3333
  • Ability to obtain NATO SECRET security clearance before employment
