Staff Officer (ACO Industry Engagement)

The officer coordinates Allied Command Operations engagement with defence industry, shaping policy and monitoring activity across NATO innovation bodies while organizing campaigns, governance meetings, delegation visits and events that connect operational needs with emerging technology.

Department: Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe — ACO Innovation Management Branch

• Coordinate ACO engagements with defence industry
• Develop policy and guidance for industry interaction
• Assess innovation-policy developments and recommend action
• Represent ACO in working-level governance forums
• Monitor industry-engagement activity and brief leadership
• Lead innovation campaigns, events and delegation visits

• University degree in business administration, public administration or a related field with four years of relevant experience, or higher-secondary education with advanced vocational qualification and seven years of relevant experience
• At least four years of experience relevant to the post
• Understanding of defence industry, technology adoption and procurement processes
• English proficiency at NATO SLP 3333
• Nationality of a NATO member state
• Security clearance and medical certification

• Three-year project-linked NATO civilian contract
