Responsibilities
- Advise leadership and governance bodies on legal matters
- Establish the inaugural General Counsel function
- Interpret international, personnel and commercial law
- Negotiate agreements and legal instruments
- Develop policy and assess legal implications
- Represent the organization in litigation and external forums
- Coordinate with NATO legal offices and member nations
Requirements
- University law degree with professional qualifications and licences
- At least eight years of legal experience
- At least five years in an international multidisciplinary environment
- International law and personnel-law expertise
- Advanced English and beginner French
- Nationality of a NATO member country
