Responsibilities

  • Analyse at least three laws, policies or programmes on gender equality and gender-based violence
  • Conduct participatory diagnostics with government, community organisations and academia
  • Prepare technical reports with reform and programme-adjustment recommendations
  • Facilitate validation workshops with ministries, the Ombudsperson's Office and legislators
  • Systematise agreements and recommendations from participatory working sessions
  • Document the final review process, legal analysis and differentiated recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in law, political science or sociology
  • Master's degree in law, human rights, public policy, public management or gender, or two additional years of qualifying experience
  • At least one year of experience designing, analysing or evaluating public policies on gender equality or gender-based violence
  • Experience preparing analytical reports on legal frameworks related to gender equality or gender-based violence
  • Experience in analysis or technical support for normative instruments related to LGBTIQ+ rights
  • Advanced oral and written Spanish and working knowledge of English
