Senior Programme Associate

The Senior Programme Associate coordinates IOM Poland’s protection project work. The role leads implementation, budgets and reporting; analyses migration developments; manages liaison with authorities and partners; runs capacity-building activities; develops project materials and SOPs; and supervises staff supporting protection interventions for migrants in reception and detention settings.

• Lead and coordinate project implementation and adjust work plans to field conditions
• Research and analyse migration developments, legislation and relevant documentation
• Monitor expenditures and maintain records of approved project budgets
• Coordinate financial, administrative and technical project aspects
• Plan and conduct capacity-building workshops
• Liaise with authorities, UN agencies, donors and other stakeholders
• Prepare correspondence, briefing notes, presentations and narrative and financial reports
• Supervise and train reporting staff

• High school diploma with seven years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in law, political or social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights or related fields with five years
• Experience delivering legal information to migrants in reception and detention centres
• Fluency in English, Polish and Russian, oral and written
• Valid residence and work permit for Poland

• Experience with international humanitarian, non-government or government institutions in a multicultural setting
• Knowledge of Ukrainian
