Job Description
Senior Protection Assistant supports its assigned functions through technical analysis, programme implementation, partner coordination and accurate documentation. The role monitors progress and compliance, prepares reports and guidance, works with authorities and operational counterparts, and helps deliver timely, accountable services and results for affected people, communities and institutions.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Apply protection standards, policies and codes of conduct
- Provide counselling and liaison with authorities on documentation
- Conduct information gathering and interviews for protection assessments
- Support child protection and durable-solution activities
Role Requirements
- Relevant education and professional experience in the area of assignment
- Fluency in English is required
- Fluency in Spanish is required
Desired Criteria
- Previous experience in emergency, border or mixed movement contexts would be highly desirable
- Ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- High degree of flexibility, sound judgement, resilience, initiative and discretion
