Assistant Resettlement and Complementary Pathways OfficerNew

Supports UNHCR Türkiye's third-country-solutions operation by strengthening resettlement and complementary-pathways processing, case quality and protection outcomes. The role assesses cases, develops procedures and planning, monitors submissions and risks, coordinates with government and partner authorities, supervises staff and helps deliver efficient pathways for refugees in Türkiye.

• Implement procedures supporting resettlement and complementary pathways within comprehensive protection strategies
• Assess cases, conduct interviews and monitor procedural compliance and submission quality
• Develop country strategies and annual planning for resettlement and complementary pathways
• Guide country operations on quality resettlement submissions and third-country admission pathways
• Monitor progress against targets and follow up with resettlement countries and partners
• Identify, interview and counsel persons of concern for resettlement or complementary pathways
• Mitigate fraud risks through oversight, advice and guidance
• Supervise third-country-solutions processing staff and coordinate with government and external stakeholders

• Completed university degree in International Law, International Relations, Political Science, Social Sciences or another relevant field
• One year of relevant experience with an undergraduate degree, or no experience with a graduate degree or doctorate
• Advanced proficiency in English and Turkish
• Turkish nationality

• Diverse field experience
• Knowledge of UNHCR policies and global strategic priorities on protection, IDPs, statelessness and HIV/AIDS
• Experience in resettlement and RSD procedures and standards
• Supervisory experience leading third-country-solutions processing teams
• Experience using proGres and other tools for data collection and analysis
