Job Description
Provides technical and administrative support to IOM Egypt’s Immigration and Border Governance programme, helping deliver activities on border management, search and rescue, trade facilitation and international cooperation. The role coordinates documentation, stakeholders, events and reporting, while translating Arabic and English materials and maintaining project records for programme delivery.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Assist implementation and monitoring of Immigration and Border Governance project activities
- Draft correspondence, memoranda, cooperation plans, talking points and programme materials
- Coordinate administrative actions and clearances with organisational units and external parties
- Organise meetings and capacity-building activities with government agencies and local partners
- Translate and interpret correspondence and materials between Arabic and English
- Prepare project, activity and donor narrative-reporting inputs
- Respond to information requests and maintain project files and records
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Law, Maritime Law, Humanitarian Action, Development Studies, Security Studies, Political Science or a related field with two years of relevant professional experience
- High school diploma with four years of relevant professional experience
- Fluency in English and Arabic, oral and written
Desired Criteria
- Experience supporting Immigration and Border Governance projects and delivering related training or workshops
- Experience in international humanitarian, non-governmental or government institutions in a multicultural setting
- Knowledge of border management, search and rescue, integrated border management or countering cross-border crime
- Experience developing training plans, standard operating procedures and detailed instructions
- Experience supporting donor project management with IOM or a UN agency
