Call for Experts: Immigration and Border Governance

Builds an IOM Türkiye roster of national and international experts for current and future immigration and border-governance projects. Experts provide technical assistance, research, training, consultations and practical tools across border control, migration management, data systems and protection.

• Provide technical assistance for immigration and border-governance project activities
• Conduct field and desk research and needs assessments
• Draft training curricula, strategy papers, guidelines and study-visit reports
• Contribute to expert consultations, workshops, conferences and tailored training
• Support implementation of border-control, readmission, migration-data and regular-migration activities

• University or relevant vocational academy degree with at least ten years of experience in immigration and border management
• Professional or academic experience in at least one listed programme component
• Experience working with relevant public institutions
• Excellent oral and written English
• Excellent drafting and presentation skills

• Master’s or PhD degree
• Competency in Turkish
