Job Description
The International Consultant develops standards for temporary migrant holding centres in Uzbekistan. The consultancy reviews legal frameworks and facility practices, creates practical safeguards and referral tools for vulnerable migrants, consults authorities and service providers, and pilots a competency-based training package for eventual digital learning delivery.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Review national and international frameworks for temporary holding centres
- Develop operational, protection and technical standards and practical tools
- Identify safeguards and referral mechanisms for vulnerable migrants
- Consult relevant authorities and protection service providers
- Develop and pilot a competency-based training package
- Prepare training content for a self-paced digital learning module
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in law, social sciences, international relations or related field
- At least seven years of relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated expertise in migrant protection, detention or migration management
- Fluency in English
