Summary of Responsibilities
- Facilitate and report discussion sessions for technical development of course curricula using DACUM methodology
- Conduct consultations to develop curricula, syllabi, teacher guides, student manuals and assessment guides
- Form curriculum-development committees and build their capacities
- Lead technical support for committees developing curricula, manuals and scope-and-sequence documents
- Organise validation workshops and report on development of output materials
- Ensure materials align with the Sudan National Technical Education Qualifications Framework
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Technical Education, Education, Curriculum Development, Educational Planning or a closely related field
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in technical education, vocational training or curriculum development
- At least five years of competency-based curriculum-development experience
- Sudan-based experience is required
- Excellent command of Arabic
- Good working knowledge of English
Desired Criteria
- Previous experience in the Sudanese technical-education system and relevant institutions
- Knowledge of Badaweit, Tigre/Tigri or other languages used in Kassala State
