The AIIB Senior Evaluation Specialist leads early learning assessments, project learning reviews and thematic evaluations across sovereign-backed and nonsovereign financing. Reporting to the Head of IEF, the specialist designs methodologies, gathers and synthesises evidence, prepares reports and knowledge products, trains colleagues, and promotes the use of independent findings in operational policies, strategies and institutional learning.

• Lead learning assessments and reviews across sovereign-backed and nonsovereign operations
• Design and conduct thematic evaluations from methodology through reporting and dissemination
• Deliver evaluation training and provide independent inputs to policies and strategies

• Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, finance, law, public policy or a related discipline
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in MDBs, international financial institutions or comparable development organizations
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English
