Job Description
Leads the design and delivery of the final evaluation of the BERANI II joint programme on sexual and reproductive health and rights in Indonesia. The consultant will direct the evaluation team, set the methodology and fieldwork approach, ensure quality and ethical standards, and deliver reports and presentations that provide an independent assessment and actionable recommendations for programme partners.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of the BERANI II final evaluation
- Provide methodological guidance on the evaluation approach, work plan and field phase
- Direct and coordinate the evaluation team and ensure quality across deliverables
- Draft and present the design report and draft and final evaluation reports
- Lead meetings with the Evaluation Reference Group and participating UN organisations
- Serve as technical expert for a thematic area of the country programme
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in public health, social sciences, demography, population studies, statistics, development studies or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience conducting or managing international-development evaluations
- Extensive experience leading complex evaluations commissioned by UN organisations, international organisations or NGOs
- Expertise in a BERANI II programme thematic area
- Knowledge of theory-based evaluation approaches and qualitative and quantitative methods
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of humanitarian strategies, policies, frameworks and international humanitarian law
- Ability to integrate human rights, gender perspectives and disability inclusion
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of Indonesia's regional and national development context

- Travel to Indonesia will be determined by fieldwork needs and agreement with the Evaluation Manager
