Summary of Responsibilities

  • Lead teams or subteams within assigned business lines
  • Originate, structure, execute and monitor investment projects
  • Lead economic, financial, technical and legal due diligence and embed mitigants in financing structures
  • Develop relationships with financial institutions, lenders, insurers and other co-financing partners
  • Expand the investor base and identify new sources of private capital mobilisation
  • Represent the department in meetings and coordinate follow-up and reporting
  • Support internal coordination and delivery of departmental targets

Role Requirements

  • At least 10–15 years of relevant professional experience in multilateral development banks or top-tier global financial institutions
  • Proven record of originating, structuring and executing infrastructure transactions across multiple jurisdictions
  • Sound knowledge of products used in multilateral development bank syndication
  • Established relationships with financial institutions or co-financing partners in AIIB markets
  • Strong credit and process-management capability
  • High spoken and written proficiency in English

Desired Criteria

  • Master's degree in finance, economics, business or a related field
  • Knowledge of international project finance or corporate finance
  • Experience across at least one region of AIIB global coverage
