Supports the origination, structuring and execution of investments with financial institutions by conducting research, due diligence, financial analysis and modelling. The role helps teams assess project viability, mitigate transaction risks and monitor investments across AIIB's product portfolio.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Research prospective projects and clients
  • Prepare presentations, memoranda and reports for client interactions
  • Support project due diligence, approvals and the mitigation of economic, financial, technical and legal risks
  • Analyse financial statements and help structure transactions
  • Build financial models to test the commercial and financial viability of projects
  • Coordinate meetings, information exchange, follow-up and reporting across bank divisions
  • Support portfolio monitoring and delivery of team objectives

Role Requirements

  • At least four years of relevant experience in financial institution, corporate or project finance
  • A master's degree in business, economics or finance, or a bachelor's degree with additional relevant experience
  • Understanding of international capital markets, commercial banks, credit guarantees, insurance and financial products
  • Experience structuring solutions using debt, private equity, funds or capital-market instruments
  • Strong financial, analytical and credit capability
  • Proficient spoken and written English

Desired Criteria

  • Experience in the financial institutions sector
  • Experience leading or managing projects and engaging public and private-sector stakeholders
  • Master's degree in business, economics or finance
