Counsel - Private Sector Investment & Treasury Operations

Provides legal and policy advice on AIIB finance, treasury, funding, derivatives, repo and liquidity management matters. The role supports transaction structuring, legal documentation, policy compliance and cross-departmental collaboration.

• Provide legal and policy advice to Finance, Risk Management and other departments
• Develop and maintain legal document templates
• Coordinate with MDBs and development partners on finance and treasury operations
• Advise on transaction structuring and external counsel management
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents and legal texts
• Handle legal aspects of signings, closings and transaction monitoring
• Advise on internal policies, procedures and institutional initiatives

• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant post-qualification practice experience
• LLM degree or equivalent
• Qualification to practise law in at least one jurisdiction
• Excellent command of English, including drafting and negotiating legal documents in English
