Job Description
Provides UNFPA Nepal with financial, compliance, assurance and operational-performance support. The analyst reviews internal controls and implementing-partner risks, supports HACT assurance, analyzes programme delivery and expenditure, prepares dashboards and reporting, maintains the UN Programme Portal, and assists evidence-based country-programme planning and management decision-making.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support quality assurance reviews of compliance processes and follow-up on audit recommendations
- Support assessment of the Internal Control Framework and identify control weaknesses
- Support implementing-partner due diligence, risk assessment and HACT assurance activities
- Prepare compliance, assurance, risk-management and operational-performance reports and dashboards
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Finance/Accounting, Business, or Public Administration or a related field
- Fluency in oral and written English and national language of the duty station
Desired Criteria
- Professional experience in finance or audit or other directly related fields is advantageous
- Prior experience with ERP systems preferably Oracle based is an advantage
- Previous experience in the UN and knowledge of UN internal control and implementing partner procedures is advantageous
