Senior Investment Solutions Specialist – TransportNew

Shapes AIIB’s transport-sector solutions by originating bankable investments, developing policies and financing approaches, and advising clients across emerging markets. The role builds cross-border connectivity and sustainable infrastructure through project preparation, partnerships and knowledge leadership.

• Lead transport-sector solutions, strategies and investment approaches
• Prepare and review transport project documents and technical inputs
• Identify emerging technologies, market gaps and investment opportunities
• Engage clients, partners and cofinanciers to originate business
• Define upstream projects and pilot innovative financing products
• Advance cross-border connectivity, bankable partnerships and asset recycling
• Develop feasibility studies, policy frameworks, toolkits and guidance
• Produce knowledge products and deliver client training

• Master’s degree or higher in Transport Engineering, Transport Economics, Transport Planning or a related field
• At least ten years of relevant transport-sector experience
• Deep expertise in at least one transport subsector in developing countries
• Experience with transport technology transfer and adaptation
• Experience in investment planning, project implementation and maintenance
• Experience providing policy advice to governments and clients
• Fluency in oral and written English
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams

• Experience with multilateral development banks or other development institutions
• Experience supporting institutional reforms in emerging markets
