Investment Officer

Supports ADB’s private-sector infrastructure investments in India by originating opportunities, leading due diligence and financial analysis, structuring transactions and building project pipelines. The officer coordinates risk, safeguards and client work through approval and implementation.

• Identify bankable infrastructure opportunities and secure client financing mandates
• Lead due diligence, financial analysis, credit assessment and risk-mitigation work for proposed investments
• Structure loans, bonds, equity investments, guarantees and other forms of private-sector assistance
• Develop financial models, review statements and projections, and perform sensitivity and stress testing
• Negotiate financing terms and support review of financing agreements
• Prepare concept-review forms, project summaries, risk analyses and transaction documentation
• Coordinate credit and safeguards issues with risk-management and specialist teams
• Contribute to private-sector policy, strategy and the infrastructure project pipeline

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or accounting
• At least eight years of relevant experience in project finance or corporate finance
• Ability to research and analyse defined problems, organise data and prepare notes, papers and reports
• Effective report-writing and communication skills in English
• Indian nationality or permanent residence
