Job Description

Strengthens UNICEF fundraising and partnership outcomes through strategic content, capacity-building and knowledge-management solutions. Based in the PFP BRIDGE Team, the specialist develops compelling fundraising publications and learning products, leads programme and fundraising capacity building, and supports partnership-system optimization. The role combines programme and partnership.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Lead development of fundraising and partnership content
  • Lead capacity building on programmes and fundraising
  • Support partnership-system optimization and team enablement
  • Develop fundraising publications for donors and partners
  • Deliver training content for public and private-sector colleagues
  • Support quality reporting programme visits and Rights and Results Programming

Role Requirements

  • Advanced degree in communications social sciences marketing public relations business administration and management or relevant subject
  • At least five years of private and public sector engagement or fundraising experience including two years in development programming
  • Complex multi-stakeholder process and project-management experience
  • Experience developing capacity-building initiatives and learning products for diverse audiences
  • Fundraising content learning initiatives or knowledge-product development experience
  • Proficiency in English

Desired Criteria

  • Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language
  • UNICEF or UN-system programme and operations experience
  • Regional or country-office experience
  • Sustainability in the UN context or ESG reporting experience
  • Country-level development fragile-setting or humanitarian-context experience
