Job Description
Drives implementation and development of UNICEF’s Foundations Strategy to secure, grow and deepen high-value partnerships for children. The manager develops business opportunities, guides strategic engagement and partnership growth, coordinates stakeholders across UNICEF’s network, and introduces approaches that respond to philanthropy and social-financing trends and institutional priorities.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Implement and develop UNICEF’s Global Foundations Strategy
- Secure, grow and deepen high-value partnerships that leverage financing, influence and expertise
- Shape new business opportunities
- Strengthen existing partnerships and guide strategic engagement
- Provide strategic market support and build capacity across ways of working
- Conduct business analysis and advance institutional priorities
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in International Development, Public Administration, Business Management, Communication or a related technical field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of relevant experience
- At least eight years of progressively responsible experience with private foundations, grant-making bodies, partnership development, programming, communications or project management
- Experience developing and implementing partnership strategies
- Experience identifying, negotiating, securing, developing, growing and managing complex high-value strategic partnerships
- Track record securing and managing global partnerships valued at USD 10 million or more
- Experience coordinating diverse stakeholders across complex organizational settings
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Understanding of foundation engagement models and partnership-development practices
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language
- Direct experience working with foundation partners
- Familiarity with UNICEF programmes
- Relevant country-level experience in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
