Job Description
Advise the UN Resident Coordinator Office in Kinshasa on strategic partnerships that advance Sustainable Development Goals in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The officer coordinates engagement with government, private sector and civil society; develops partnership and resource-mobilisation strategies; supports pooled funds; and provides analysis and proposals that help the UN Country Team mobilise finance and manage opportunities.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor the UN Partnership Strategy
- Coordinate engagement with government, private sector and civil society
- Assess partnership risks and support due diligence
- Develop resource-mobilisation strategies and analyse funding streams
- Support pooled funds and Cooperation Framework financing
- Prepare partnership briefings, proposals and knowledge products
- Strengthen UN Country Team partnership and donor knowledge management
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in business or public administration, sustainable development, social sciences, education or related field
- At least five years of strategic partnerships, programme management or resource-mobilisation experience
- Strategic partnership experience with government, private sector and civil society
- Partnership design and implementation experience
- Resource-mobilisation strategy experience
- English and French at UN Level II in reading, writing, listening and speaking
- Open to nationals of the Democratic Republic of the Congo only
Desired Criteria
- Inclusion-strategy experience
- UN inter-agency coordination experience
- Knowledge-management experience in development cooperation
- Partnership experience in agriculture, digital transformation, jobs, climate, humanitarian or public-private partnership areas
- SDG financing experience
