Overview
Develops strategic partnerships and resource-mobilisation initiatives for the United Nations country team in Ghana. The officer advises on partnership strategy and due diligence, engages government, business and civil society, supports pooled funding and SDG financing, and strengthens partnership knowledge and capacity.

Responsibilities
- Advise on implementation and monitoring of the United Nations partnership strategy
- Build partnerships with government, civil society, business and non-traditional actors
- Assess partnership risks and support due diligence on investment opportunities
- Develop resource-mobilisation strategies and analyse donor and funding streams
- Support the Cooperation Framework funding framework, joint programmes and pooled funds
- Identify financing-for-development opportunities and prepare partnership briefings
- Maintain donor knowledge, analyse partnership models and share lessons learned
- Collect and visualise partnership data for planning, reporting and decision-making
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in business or public administration, sustainable development, social sciences, education or a related field, or a first degree with two additional years of experience
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in partnerships, project or programme management, resource mobilisation or development cooperation
- Experience developing strategic partnerships across government, private sector and civil society
- Experience designing and implementing partnerships and resource-mobilisation strategies
- Experience preparing project or programme proposals
- Fluency in English at UN Level II
- Ghanaian nationality
