Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor the UN Country Team partnership strategy
  • Build partnerships with government, civil society, private sector and non-traditional actors
  • Conduct partnership due diligence and advise on risks and mitigation
  • Design resource-mobilisation initiatives and analyse donor and funding streams
  • Support Cooperation Framework funding, joint programmes and pooled-fund management
  • Advise on SDG-financing instruments and prepare partnership briefs and proposals
  • Maintain donor knowledge, capture good practices and strengthen partnership capacity

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in business or public administration, sustainable development, social sciences, education or a related field, or a first degree with two additional years of experience
  • At least five years of progressively responsible partnership, programme-management or resource-mobilisation experience
  • Experience developing and implementing partnerships across government, private sector and civil society
  • Experience developing resource-mobilisation strategies and project proposals
  • English and French at UN Level II
  • Malian nationality
