Job Description
Supports the Resident Coordinator and UN Country Team in Guyana to build strategic partnerships and mobilise resources for Sustainable Development Goal delivery. The role shapes partnership and funding strategies, advises on due diligence and pooled funds, engages government, civil society and private-sector partners, and strengthens knowledge management, financing analysis and coordinated programme development.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Advise on development and implementation of the UN Partnership Strategy
- Coordinate UN Country Team engagement with civil society, private sector and other partners
- Identify partnership risks and opportunities and support due-diligence processes
- Develop resource-mobilisation strategies and monitor partnership funding relationships
- Support preparation of funding frameworks and joint programmes
- Advise on partnerships for financing the Sustainable Development Goals
- Prepare briefing materials and dialogues with development partners
- Maintain knowledge on donors, partnership models and resource-mobilisation practice
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in business or public administration, sustainable development, social sciences, education or a related area, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in strategic support to partnerships, programme management or resource mobilisation in development cooperation
- Experience designing and implementing partnerships
- Experience developing resource-mobilisation strategies
- Experience preparing project or programme proposals
- Experience developing strategic partnerships across government, private sector and civil society
- English proficiency
- Open to nationals of Guyana only
Desired Criteria
- Experience with inclusion strategies for gender equality, youth participation and disability inclusion
- Experience promoting knowledge management in development cooperation
- Experience in UN interagency coordination
- Experience supporting Sustainable Development Goal financing
- Two or more years of data analytics experience
