Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop a partnership and programme development plan aligned with UNOPS strategies
- Analyse development trends, risks and opportunities to build a sustainable project pipeline
- Identify, design, formulate and negotiate new projects and programme amendments
- Coordinate technical and financial inputs and draft proposals, budgets and agreements
- Build partnerships with governments, UN agencies, donors, foundations, NGOs and private-sector actors
- Represent UNOPS in inter-agency, donor and government coordination forums
- Maintain partnership opportunities and engagement records in corporate systems
- Strengthen project managers’ partnership capacity and share lessons and best practices
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline with seven years of relevant experience, or master's degree or equivalent with five years
- Relevant international-development experience executing partnership and programme plans, developing projects and proposals, and establishing institutional partnerships
- Experience working in multicultural environments or UN system organisations in a developing country
- At least two years of team-management and supervision experience
- Fluency in English and French
