Job Description
Builds private-sector fundraising partnerships for UNHCR China by planning digital campaigns, producing donor-facing content and strengthening foundation and corporate relationships. The role monitors market, policy and legal developments, manages legal and other vendors, supports agreements and donation transfers, cultivates new partners and supplies evidence, compliance guidance and strategic input that expand income streams.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Plan and design digital fundraising campaigns for the mainland Chinese market
- Produce campaign content, reports and donor feedback with headquarters and foundation partners
- Proofread digital content and support distribution across online and offline channels
- Manage agreements, donation transfers and engagement with existing foundation partners
- Cultivate new foundation and corporate prospects to expand private-sector income
- Monitor fundraising policy, legal developments and market trends in mainland China
- Procure and manage external legal and other vendors from tender through delivery
- Maintain government, legal, academic and private-sector relationships that support fundraising strategy
Role Requirements
- High school diploma or university degree in international development, journalism, communications, public policy, business administration or a related field
- At least three years of relevant experience with a high school diploma, or two years with a bachelor's degree or higher
- At least one year of communications experience producing and publishing digital content in mainland China
- At least two years of partnership-development and engagement experience
- Ability to write high-quality communications materials in Simplified Chinese and English
- Experience implementing donor-stewardship programmes
- Fluency in Chinese and English
Desired Criteria
- Professional experience in the non-profit sector, UN agencies or international institutions
- Experience running digital-marketing programmes for customer acquisition and support
- Experience working with a national-level foundation in mainland China
- Experience engaging with Chinese government counterparts
