Job Description

Supports UNHCR China's digital individual-giving programme by creating donor communications, operating fundraising channels and analysing supporter performance. The role manages e-commerce and CRM activities, improves donor journeys and middle-value giving, coordinates vendors and foundation partners, and turns market and database insights into content, campaigns and engagement actions that expand and retain the supporter base.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Develop digital donor communications and social-media content with internal teams and vendors
  • Initiate supporter interactions and deliver contextual notifications through CRM tools
  • Design, execute and optimize donor-development programmes
  • Maintain the e-shop and regular-giving campaigns across digital platforms
  • Analyse fundraising, e-commerce, social-media and supporter-performance data
  • Extract database insights to improve audience engagement, conversion and upgrading
  • Coordinate donor care with foundation partners under local legal requirements
  • Support administration, procurement and financial processes for individual giving

Role Requirements

  • High school diploma or university degree in marketing, communications, statistics or a related field
  • At least two years of relevant experience with a high school diploma, or one year with a bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience in social media, performance marketing or fundraising in mainland China
  • Experience in data analysis or performance-report development
  • Ability to develop communications content in Simplified Chinese and English
  • Experience with CRM digital systems and client services
  • Fluency in Chinese and English

Desired Criteria

  • Additional diploma in digital marketing, social media, e-commerce, public affairs or a similar programme
  • Professional experience with advertising agencies, international companies or institutions
  • Digital-marketing or individual-fundraising experience
