Job Description
Supports the South Africa Country Office’s Investing in Children programme by providing research, analysis and coordination for strategic partnerships, resource mobilisation and policy influence. The role gathers and shares partner intelligence, supports senior management engagement and helps strengthen UNICEF’s visibility, credibility and funding opportunities for children.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and report information to inform partner relationship approaches
- Support engagement with key stakeholders and senior management
- Contribute to environmental scanning and knowledge exchange
- Support resource mobilisation and policy influence within the assignment
- Capture progress and ensure internal information sharing
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in International Studies, Political Science, Communications, International Development, International Relations, Public Policy or a related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in programme management, partnership management, resource mobilisation, donor relations, external relations, stakeholder engagement, interagency coordination, policy analysis, international development or communications
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Experience in fundraising and partnership management
- Experience with UNICEF, the UN system or the South African private-sector landscape
- Experience drafting proposals and donor reports
- Experience leading donor field visits
- Country-level experience in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
