Job Description
Leads UNFPA Malawi's results planning, monitoring, reporting and evaluation for programmes and projects. The specialist develops theories of change, quality monitoring frameworks and costed evaluation plans; tracks results against targets; strengthens results-based management and knowledge use; and ensures that evaluation processes and products meet UNFPA policy and quality standards.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead development of theories of change and quality monitoring and evaluation frameworks
- Oversee monitoring and tracking of results against defined targets
- Lead annual and multiyear results plans and reporting of results
- Develop and implement a costed evaluation plan
- Manage the quality of evaluation processes and products under UNFPA evaluation standards
- Facilitate use of results information for programme adaptation
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in social sciences, public health, demography, economics, statistics or a related field
- At least five years of progressively responsible professional experience in monitoring and evaluation
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other official UN languages is desirable
