Guides the creation of a concise policy-maker overview of comprehensive sexuality education in Rwanda. Working with UNFPA, the Rwanda Basic Education Board and curriculum specialists, the consultant will map content across school levels, establish monitoring and accountability mechanisms, and turn technical evidence into a practical document that strengthens implementation oversight and advocacy.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Map comprehensive sexuality education topics, learning objectives and expected learner outcomes
- Develop a curriculum matrix across primary and secondary education levels
- Define monitoring and evaluation mechanisms and school-level performance indicators
- Establish accountability guidance and metrics for government and implementing partners
- Produce an accessible overview document tailored to policy makers
- Work with UNFPA, the Rwanda Basic Education Board and curriculum specialists
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in public health, education, curriculum development, educational planning, social sciences, gender studies or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in education programming, curriculum development, textbook creation or education systems strengthening
- Proven experience in comprehensive sexuality education programming
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong analytical, report-writing and stakeholder-facilitation skills

- Previous experience working with the Rwanda Basic Education Board
