Consultant - Development of a Guide for the Planning of Curriculum Transformation

Develops chapter three and methodological tools for a UNESCO guide on curriculum transformation, while quality-assuring other chapters on planning, monitoring, risks and governance.

• Design and draft chapter three on monitoring, risks and regulations
• Develop methodological tools including a results framework, risk analysis template, monitoring dashboard and impact measurement template
• Review chapters one and two for quality and consistency
• Revise chapter three based on comments and feedback
• Prepare the final validated version of chapter three
• Support final validation of the complete guide

• Master's degree or PhD in education, educational planning, education policy, monitoring and evaluation or a related field
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in the education sector
• Experience designing or supporting curriculum reforms
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum reform planning
• Proven expertise in results-based management, monitoring and evaluation, and risk management
• Excellent drafting and writing skills in either French or English

• Assignment requires 25 to 30 working days spread over six to eight weeks
• Applications must include the employment history form and a financial proposal with a daily rate in USD
