Summary of Responsibilities
- Monitor grant-funded activities, including equipment procurement and delivery for TVET institutions
- Ensure grant implementation complies with agreements, workplans, budgets, ILO rules and donor requirements
- Develop monitoring plans, tools and reporting mechanisms and recommend corrective action on risks
- Review grant applications, reports, procurement documentation and supporting evidence from grantees
- Conduct monitoring visits to beneficiaries, TVET institutions, enterprises and project sites
- Maintain grant records and prepare progress reports, briefings and monitoring information
- Support budget monitoring, financial forecasting and integration of inclusion and sustainability priorities
Role Requirements
- First-level university degree in economics, public policies, development studies or a relevant field
- At least two years of national-level professional experience in project management, implementation, grant monitoring and evaluation
- Excellent knowledge of the working language of the duty station and good knowledge of English
- Good knowledge of grant management, monitoring and evaluation, procurement processes and project implementation
Desired Criteria
- Experience with policy-making institutions or development partners
- Experience in the HoReCa sector
- Advanced degree in labour economics
- Familiarity with skills development, TVET and enterprise development
- Knowledge of public procurement, donor-funded projects, financial reporting and compliance
