Job Description
The Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer supports UNICEF Cuba’s planning and evaluation cycle by preparing and implementing monitoring plans, supporting evaluations, and following up results. The role strengthens evidence use, partnerships, knowledge management and capacity building across the country programme.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Set standards for programme performance planning and monitoring
- Support preparation of the integrated monitoring and evaluation plan
- Support implementation of evaluations
- Disseminate and follow up evaluation findings
- Build networks and partnerships
- Support innovation, knowledge management and capacity building
Role Requirements
- Bachelor degree in economics, psychology, sociology, education or another social science field
- At least two years of professional experience in social development analysis and programming at international level or in a developing country
- Experience conducting impact assessments and applying findings to programme design, implementation and decision-making
- Expertise in analysing quantitative and qualitative data for programme performance monitoring
- Knowledge of Integrated Monitoring, Evaluation and Planning processes
- Fluency in Spanish and English
Desired Criteria
- Monitoring and evaluation experience in a United Nations system agency or organisation
- Country-level experience in development, fragile or humanitarian contexts
