Overview

Lead UNICEF Sri Lanka and Maldives programme planning, monitoring, reporting and grant management using results-based approaches. The specialist coordinates country-programme plans, donor reporting, compliance, partnerships and evidence use to strengthen accountability and measurable results for children.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate country-programme planning and design processes
  • Manage grants, donor compliance and timely fund utilisation
  • Monitor programme results against indicators, baselines and targets
  • Prepare corporate, management and donor reports
  • Support HACT compliance and civil-society partnership oversight
  • Apply rights-based and results-based management approaches
  • Use data and evidence to improve programme decisions
  • Support partnerships and fundraising with national committees and bilateral donors

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in a relevant social-science, development, public-policy or related discipline
  • At least five years of progressively responsible experience in programme planning, monitoring, reporting, management, grants, donor reporting or data analysis
  • National or country-office experience coordinating with government and development partners
  • Fluency in English
  • Sri Lankan nationality
