Overview

The National Project Officer manages the ILO EU4People grant cycle in Sarajevo, from calls and beneficiary support through contracting, monitoring and closure. The role coordinates workplans and budgets, reviews reports, trains grantees, conducts monitoring missions and supports inclusive employment for vulnerable groups.

Responsibilities

  • Design grant workplans, budgets and implementation approaches
  • Monitor grant activities, resources, delays and reporting
  • Coordinate implementing partners, government and ILO specialists
  • Train beneficiaries on monitoring and evaluation
  • Conduct project-site monitoring missions
  • Prepare briefs, reports, correspondence and public materials

Requirements

  • First-level university degree in economics, public policy, development studies or a relevant field
  • At least one year of national-level experience in project management, implementation, grant monitoring and evaluation
  • Good knowledge of grant management and policymaking processes
  • Excellent knowledge of a working language of Bosnia and Herzegovina and good English
