National Project Officer – Enterprise

Coordinates enterprise-development activities that expand livelihoods and decent work for refugees and host communities in Kenya. The officer manages project delivery, budgets, partner contracts and field missions, strengthens implementing partners and documents results, learning and policy opportunities.

Department: PROSPECTS Programme, RO-Africa

• Implement enterprise activities supporting refugees and host communities
• Prepare budget estimates, expenditure forecasts and corrective recommendations
• Coordinate partner agencies, constituents, government and displacement actors
• Guide partners on technical requirements and market-systems approaches
• Identify capacity gaps and connect partners with technical resources
• Review workplans, progress reports, data and partner deliverables
• Track implementation, contracts, results and project learning
• Organise training, workshops and technical field missions

• First-level university degree in economics, social sciences, development or another relevant field
• At least two years of national-level experience in project management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation with an enterprise-promotion focus
• Excellent command of English

• One-year technical-cooperation fixed-term appointment with possible extension
• Entry-level annual salary is KES 6,165,907
