Overview

Supports UNICEF China’s digital-education portfolio through research, planning, implementation and monitoring. The officer analyses education evidence, tracks resources and results, supports government and partner delivery, conducts field visits, prepares donor reports and promotes innovation and stakeholder capacity building.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse digital-education needs and maintain evidence for programme planning
  • Develop goals, strategies and results-based plans for digital education
  • Administer programme transactions and prepare review and approval materials
  • Monitor implementation, resources, compliance and donor commitments
  • Conduct field visits and report bottlenecks requiring management action
  • Advise government, NGO and United Nations partners on education programming
  • Build partnerships and prepare advocacy and resource-mobilisation materials
  • Capture lessons learned and deliver stakeholder capacity-building support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, sociology or another relevant technical field
  • At least one year of professional experience in programme planning, management or digital-education research
  • Demonstrated programme-planning, programme-management and digital-education research skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese
  • Nationality of the People’s Republic of China
