Capacity-Building Trainer

Designs and delivers Arabic-language training for women-led civil society organisations in Yemen on results-based management, project design and monitoring and evaluation. The consultant equips partners to plan, measure and report gender-responsive humanitarian and peacebuilding programmes.

Department: Women, Peace and Humanitarian Action Programme

• Design an Arabic online training curriculum tailored to women-led civil society organisations
• Teach results-based management cycles, results chains, frameworks, indicators and risk mitigation
• Train participants in conflict-sensitive project design, budgeting, partnership management and adaptive delivery
• Build monitoring and evaluation capacity in data collection, reporting, evaluation and quality assurance
• Deliver a four-day participatory training using adult-learning methodologies
• Integrate gender equality, protection, inclusion and sustainability across the training
• Report training outcomes, lessons learned and recommendations

• Master’s degree in development studies, project management, public administration, social sciences, gender studies or a related field, or a first university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience in results-based management, project management and monitoring and evaluation
• Experience delivering capacity-building training for civil society organisations, NGOs or United Nations agencies
• Fluent Arabic

• Training curriculum and delivery must be in Arabic
