Overview

Coordinates national delivery of a labour-migration and worker-protection programme, managing partners, budgets, monitoring and reporting while advising government counterparts, organising training, maintaining stakeholder relationships and supporting research and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day programme implementation and delivery with implementing partners
  • Monitor work plans, progress, inclusion commitments and quality of programme results
  • Prepare budgets, expenditure forecasts and administrative documentation
  • Develop concept notes, terms of reference and implementation agreements
  • Organise consultations, seminars and training and undertake monitoring missions
  • Supervise programme support staff and national consultants
  • Maintain partnerships with authorities, social partners, civil society, private sector and media
  • Prepare donor reports, policy briefs, research inputs and programme communications

Requirements

  • University degree in law, political science, economics, management or a relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • At least three years of national-level project or programme management and implementation experience
  • Excellent command of English and a national language
  • Eligibility under local recruitment requirements for a National Officer position
