Responsibilities
- Coordinate operational, administrative and financial delivery of the assisted-return project
- Track implementation, identify gaps and recommend corrective actions
- Develop workplans, budgets, monitoring tools and standard operating procedures
- Maintain project data, information systems and visibility materials
- Integrate protection principles into assisted-return activities
- Supervise case-management systems, case managers and project staff
- Coordinate reports, partners, donors, authorities and UN agencies
- Assess protection risks and develop prevention and mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in political or social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights, law or a related field with two years of experience, or a master’s degree in one of those fields
- Experience liaising with government, international institutions, UN agencies and NGOs
- Experience working with migrants, refugees, displaced people, trafficking survivors or other vulnerable groups
- Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English
- Valid residence and work authorisation in Costa Rica
