Responsibilities

  • Lead project implementation, monitoring and evaluation in line with work plans and ILO rules
  • Supervise the project team and manage consultants, grants and cooperation arrangements
  • Monitor work plans, progress reports, budgets and financial execution and resolve delivery issues
  • Coordinate government, employer, worker, UNDP and resident coordinator partners
  • Organise training and awareness activities on labour rights and social protection
  • Represent the project and manage communications, media relations and visibility
  • Prepare technical, financial, donor and progress reports
  • Support resource mobilisation, project design and employment policy activities

Requirements

  • First-level university degree in economics, social sciences, political science or a related field
  • At least three years of experience managing, supervising and administering projects, grants or cooperation agreements
  • Excellent Spanish and working knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Paraguayan nationality or permission to work or permanent residence in Paraguay at application
