Job Description
Supports the Security Council Subsidiary Organs Branch and the Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team with conference servicing and documentation. The assistant prepares official meeting materials, coordinates arrangements with offices and delegations, maintains procedural records and statistics, and supports meetings at Headquarters and elsewhere. The work keeps Security Council committee processes organised and timely.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Prepare official documentation for conference-room distribution in six languages
- Coordinate daily programme changes with Secretariat offices and delegations
- Prepare agenda annotations and material for Security Council committee meetings
- Maintain meeting procedures and reference systems
- Coordinate documentation standards and reproduction with the documents control office
- Arrange video and teleconference activities and prepare statistics on meetings
Role Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least five years of progressively responsible conference support experience including relevant meetings-management experience
- English proficiency
Desired Criteria
- Meeting programming and servicing experience is desirable
- Statistical reporting experience is desirable
- Security Council, special political mission or related international-organisation experience is desirable
