- Communicate senior decisions to regional desks and monitor implementation
- Maintain contacts with governments, UN entities and international organisations
- Prepare high-level meetings, political briefings and diplomatic correspondence
- Draft workplans, project proposals, budgets and implementation reports
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in a relevant field, or first degree with two additional years of experience
- At least five years of relevant political affairs, security, development or conflict-resolution experience
- Experience in conflict prevention, mediation, preventive diplomacy and peacekeeping
- Experience drafting sensitive political analysis and diplomatic correspondence
- Fluency in English
