Job Description
Provide first-line ICT support for UNESCO’s Yangon office, resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues while maintaining equipment, systems and service records. The assistant will also support cybersecurity, backups, conferencing, user training and continuity of office technology.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide first-line user support for hardware software network and internet issues
- Install configure replace and track ICT equipment software and local-area connectivity
- Record incidents service requests troubleshooting and resolutions in the authorised ticketing system
- Support cybersecurity patching backups disaster recovery and business continuity procedures
- Train users and provide technical support for meetings webinars and hybrid events
Role Requirements
- Have completed secondary education or a bachelor’s degree in computer science information technology or a related field
- Have at least three years of relevant ICT experience or one year with a first-level university degree
- Demonstrate excellent written and spoken English and Burmese
- Know computer hardware software networks Microsoft 365 Windows and IT security practices
- Have the right to live and work in the duty-station country
Desired Criteria
- Experience in an international organisation NGO UN agency or development partner
- Hands-on Microsoft 365 Intune Active Directory or SCCM experience
- Experience with IT asset management ticketing systems and hybrid-meeting support
- Knowledge of another Asia-Pacific or official UN language
