Job Description
Provides FAO Egypt with field-level technical support for livestock project implementation at villages and farms. The specialist monitors pilot barns and biogas units, trains farmers on animal health and climate-smart practices, conducts field visits and assessments, supports beneficiary selection, supervises providers, records results and prepares technical reports for the Field Coordinator.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide daily technical support for project activities at village and farm levels
- Establish and monitor pilot model barns against approved technical specifications
- Support installation, commissioning and follow-up of biogas units in livestock farms
- Deliver farmer training on livestock husbandry, animal health, biosecurity and climate-smart practices
- Conduct field visits to monitor intervention quality and recommend improvements
- Collect technical field data and contribute to project monitoring, reporting and evaluation
Role Requirements
- University degree in Agriculture or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience implementing project activities
- Working knowledge of Arabic and limited knowledge of English
- National of Egypt
Desired Criteria
- University degree in Animal Production is desirable
