Asistente de Programas – Agropecuario

Provides agricultural technical support to productive units for Wayúu communities in Riohacha, helping strengthen household food production, social cohesion and sustainable livelihoods. The consultant follows implementation agreements, supports procurement and community visits, adapts agricultural methods, responds to monitoring alerts, and reports on project activities in coordination with WFP programme and recovery teams.

• Follow agreements for productive-unit implementation
• Support procurement of community inputs and tools
• Adapt agricultural methods to household needs
• Provide technical support during community visits
• Support institutional coordination visits
• Report activities and respond to monitoring alerts

• Completed secondary education
• At least four years of experience in agricultural, livestock or agropecuary work with communities or social-inclusion projects
• Fluency in Spanish

• Professional degree in a stated agricultural discipline
• Wayúu identity and Wayuunaiki language skills
• Experience with Wayúu communities
• Experience developing training methodologies
