National Lead Technical Expert

Leads local delivery of a Serbian programme advancing sustainable agricultural investment and agrifood transformation. The expert coordinates partners and consultants, develops investment pipelines and territorial platforms, and links viable opportunities with public and private financing.

• Lead national consultants and maintain project implementation and procurement plans
• Coordinate government, municipal, civil-society and private stakeholders
• Organise inception activities and Project Steering Committee meetings
• Establish territorial investment platforms and conduct stakeholder mapping
• Develop and advance investment opportunities and feasibility work
• Engage banks and international financial institutions on financing mechanisms
• Monitor partner delivery and prepare progress reports for donors and FAO

• Advanced university degree in agriculture, agricultural economics, rural development, business administration, economics or a related field
• At least five years of experience managing or coordinating agricultural investment, rural-development, territorial-development or agrifood-transformation projects
• Working knowledge of English and Serbian
• Nationality of Serbia or residence with a valid work permit
