National Project Coordinator

Coordinate South Africa’s Pandemic Fund project using a One Health approach. The national coordinator will lead workplans and implementation, convene government and UN partners, manage budgets and contracts, supervise personnel, monitor risks and results, and deliver donor and steering-committee reports.

• Lead national planning and implementation of the Pandemic Fund project
• Coordinate government agencies, WHO, UNICEF, delivery partners and steering bodies
• Manage budgets, agreements, contracts and resource allocation
• Monitor implementation progress, risks, surveillance and preparedness outcomes
• Supervise affiliate personnel and produce technical, financial and donor reports

• University degree in agriculture with a focus on animal health or production
• At least five years of relevant animal-health or production-and-health experience
• Working knowledge of English
• South African nationality
