Health Program Analyst

Leads technical and programmatic implementation of UNDP Global Fund-supported malaria, HIV and tuberculosis interventions in Venezuela, coordinating partners and strengthening health systems.

Department: Health and Development Unit

• Lead implementation of malaria, HIV and tuberculosis workplans under Global Fund grants
• Guide integrated programming aligned with national strategies and UNDP requirements
• Oversee programmatic reporting, analytical tools and dashboards for data-driven decisions
• Provide technical guidance on public health interventions and international standards
• Lead quality assurance, team management, data integrity and service-quality systems
• Design and monitor risk management strategies for clinical, pharmaceutical and procurement compliance
• Coordinate national strategic planning, stakeholder partnerships and capacity-building initiatives

• Advanced university degree in public health, clinical specialty related to HIV, malaria, TB or other infectious diseases, epidemiology or a related area
• Minimum three years of relevant experience designing, implementing and supervising public health programmes with a master degree
• Experience providing substantive leadership, oversight, monitoring and reporting for projects or programmes of similar scale and complexity
• Experience designing, negotiating and producing health strategic documents using public health and epidemiological data
• Experience writing technical or academic reports or articles with epidemiological and public health data analysis
• Experience coordinating with UN agencies, international organisations, health donors and other stakeholders
• Spanish required
